A few more stop overs before Vigan!
First stop: Marcos Museum and Mausoleum (Taking photos weren’t allowed at the mausoleum)
Taken outside of the museum, there were a lot of people and we had to wait a bit in line so I bought some fresh (so fressssshhhh) Buko (coconut) juice first. And I must say, I love this hat that I bought from the souvenir shop which costs a lot more back in Manila. Lol.
Life of the Marcos Family at a glance.
The prison cell of Ferdinand Marcos in Hall of Justice during his trial in Nalundasan Case.
Imelda Marcos’ Gowns.. She’s actually known for having hundreds of pairs of shoes during their time.
I’m not a fan of museums like this but at least you get to learn about the history and even see equipments and things older than you. It’s amazing how they preserve them though. So much has happened and changed through the years and some of it still affects the current. Oh well, I’m done here. Just visit them when you’re in Ilocos as there’s still more you can discover here!
